H. Lee Martin
Dr. H. Lee Martin was hired by the University of Tennessee Knoxville to create the Engineering Entrepreneurship Program for the College of Engineering. He is a successful entrepreneur, holder of 20 US patents, author of the book "Techonomics" and a mentor of many area entrepreneurs. While a student at UT in the 70's, he received the highest student honor (Torchbearer) and he was recognized as the National Young Engineer of the Year by NSPE in 1986. He has received two Research and Development RD100 awards for innovation in product design and started a company that went public in the NASDAQ exchange creating technology for virtual internet home tours
