Frequently Asked Questions
Is this event open to the public?
How much does it cost?
Thanks to our sponsor Title IX, tickets are free this year and anyone can attend, you don't have to be a UTK student. Seating is limited, so ticket registration is required to guarantee admission.
When should I arrive?
Ticket check-in will open at 5:30pm and the event will begin at 6pm. Due to filming, entry to the auditorium will not be permitted while a talk is in progress, so please arrive early!
I'm driving. Where can I park?
Unfortunately we're not able to offer reserved parking. Commuter parking may be available after 5pm at the adjacent 11th Street Garage or in the lot next to the Min Kao Engineering building. For more info visit UTK Visitor Parking Info » and the UTK Interactive Campus Map »
Will there be food?
We will be offering light refreshments during intermission. Fruit and vegetable options will also be available.
What if I need to cancel?
No worries. Email us at team@tedxutk.org from the same email address you used during registration and we will confirm your ticket cancellation. Seating is limited, so we appreciate the heads up if you can't make it.
