Drawing on experiences and knowledge gained working on Oak Ridge National Laboratory research projects, Andrew Messing and Alex Roschli explain how the technology behind 3D printing can advance and be applied to a range of challenges and applications. Andrew Messing is an engineering student at the University of Tennessee Knoxville and an intern with Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Alex Roschli is an engineering student at the University of Tennessee Knoxville and an intern with Oak Ridge National Laboratory's Manufacturing Demonstration Facility. Alex works under the direction of Dr. Lonnie Love with a focus on Manufacturing Systems Research.
